At the end of September, all around the world the SDG Flag will be raised to show support to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With the flag campaign, organisations, businesses, municipalities, schools and governments worldwide show that they are part of this global movement for a better world.
In 2020, the SDG Flag campaign was initially coordinated by the Country Network Netherlands. The following year, the Country Networks in the UK and Switzerland became part of the initiative. Since then, additional networks have joined, leading to a significant increase in the number of SDG flags being raised from hundreds to thousands over the past four years. By 2023, more than 1500 companies, embassies, NGOs, government institutions, and civil society organisations had participated in raising the SDG flag.
To contribute to the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we distribute our podcast to raise awareness and encourage individuals worldwide to embrace sustainability and adopt a more sustainable lifestyle.
